Default Interesting 5th gen conversion?

Alright first off don't laugh. Now I had a dream the other night and here is the low down on it. For some reason I dreamt I took my 5th gen Accord coupe, and cross bred it with a 2nd gen RX-7 (86-91). Any way it seemed kinda cool and fun. Well I woke up and did some thinking and eyeballing. Now just taking a peek between the tow, it really seemed feasible (with a ton of money, patience, and an excellent machine shop).:fawk: So, how cool would it be to have a '94 Accord, rear wheel drive, with rotory power? I swear if anything else major goes amiss with my Accord I am going to start to this project:naughty: So what do you guys think? I've got the Accord, I've got an 89 RX-7 back at my parents house collecting dust. I could not even imagine the looks on peoples faces!!!:jawdrop:

The rear underpinnings of the Accord leave quite a bit of room, plus the RX-7 diff is rather compact. Basically I would be bolting the entire rear suspension of the 7 to the Accord chassis. So it would have a multi-link rear susp, dope. The driveshaft would need to be custom made, but thats a minor problem when compared to all the other shit that would need to be done. I am thinking maybe sidepipes exiting through some sideskirts would also be easier and more efficient than trying to route through the rear. How cool would that be, shooting flames out the sides of an Accord. Oh man I'm getting moist.

You know, I am actually shocked. I thought something like this would stir up a little more interest/critisism. Maybe some of you think it is an intereating idea and aren't saying anything, or you think it is stupid and don't feel it warrants an opinion. Anyway, I am seriously considering this as a future project. Oh yeah, RWD Accord here I come. Maybe when I do it, and if it is successful (with little snags) I'll be selling you guys conversions! Or maybe not. Ha.

I must say...this sounds hella interesting...Lots of hard custom work...but I can imagine the result to be pure craziness. The 5th gen accord can be made into a really great handling ride...so a RWD setup on it would definitely have its advantages. Does the 89 RX7 come turbo? Can it be turboed? I was just thinking how BEAST of a ride you'd have if it was....Man...this is definitely a creative idea...More power to ya.

Well, the 89 RX-7 I have is not a turbo. But I was thinking about getting a Turbo II engine. No possibility of slapping a turbo on the NA though, way way different than a normal piston power conversion (too expensive) besides a Turbo II engine can be had for fairly cheap.
Yeah, see I look at my Accord and the way it looks from the front, and then the back, it looks to me like it should be RWD. So I want to see if it can be.
Also, the NA I have have a street port on it along with some other things like Turbo II injectors, CAI, ported intake, etc. It should be good for about 200hp or more. The main thing is, it is so much lighter than the H22, or the F22 for that matter.

Thanks, but I would rather be a fooking idiot than a fucking idiot. All i see from "The Dude" is negative shit. But this isn't about me, its about a project. Imagination is the key, lemming.

Anyway, I don't have photoshop, or I would. Essentially it will look like a stock Accord, except with wide wheels out back, I wouldn't put any crazy styling on it. I want it to be a daily driven interesting vehicle. So if you can imagine that, you're done.
