The LX-V6 is just about exactly the same price as the EX. Do I need to say it again?

so the S2000 is faster than the GT on a road course and the GT is faster than the S2000 at the track. so which ones faster? since when do you race someone around curves on the street?

I don't street race. That's mainly for people with small penises. I race about 10 times a year at Watkins Glen. Let me put it this way: Would you rather have a car that went fast in a straight line or handled like crazy? Oh wait, you have a turbo Accord, I know your answer

so the GT is on a 20 year old chassis and is still faster than the S2000. what is that saying?

It's saying it has a lot of torque and power. A small block V8 in a straight line requires only a wooden chassis. Your point?

oh no i got owned. uh oh. i wasnt impressed by the S2000 and somehow i got owned? ok you guys win. youre right. my opinion is wrong. and whenever you wanna talk about who knows more about accords let me know
If that makes you sleep better tonight, then fine. But truthfully, the only thing that got owned here was your integrity, charcter, and car knowledge. Every single time I defeat one of your statements you beat around the bush and nitpick. First you thought your Accord was superior to an S2000. You got your ass whipped on that. Then you started making it an S2000 vs all contest...very classy. The S2000 is by no means a perfect car...I don't own one and probably never will. But this all stemmed from your original statement which inplied that your Accord is better than an S2000 and that the S2000 sucks. If you still think so, you're obviously one of the biggest haters I've ever met.

98Coupe - i'll stop.
Your integrity has hit the floor

tell me where i said my Accord was better than an S2000. i said i beat them in a race. how is that saying anything about my Accord being better? youre the one that compared the S2000 to the Corvette and said it would beat anything short of the Vette and i said youre wrong. my car knowledge sucks? what cause i thought an LX-V6 had drum brakes? oh no i made a mistake. thats all you got on me. i bet i know more than you twice around the block about accords

Fastball - i guess i lost in magazine racing. stock GT's have run high 13's to low 14's. STOCK. dumbass. your other fool friend even admitted the GT was faster at the track

No, fastball said it would beat anything short of a Corvette. I don't believe that statement to be correct, as an SVT Cobra would whoop its ass and there are several cars where it would be a driver's race - 350Z, Mustang GT, etc.

I think your general car knowledge sucks, yes. I'm sure you do know more about modding than me. I'm waiting to get my master's in Mechanical Engineering before getting my hands dirty on a car more fit for modifications.

have fun paying the insurance of the S2000 and driving it in the snow. yeah its nicer than the accord but its not very practical for most people. if you have a family good luck gettin 4 people in the S2000. an S2000 is a car for people that have a lot of money to spend and can afford to have another car or they dont have any kids. while the accord covers both of that. you dont need another car to drive around, you dont pay ridiculous insurance, and you can go pick up the kids in it. if it snows and your only car is an S2000, youre gonna be sitting at home until the snow melts, while you could be out doing whatever if you had an accord

That would imply to me that you believe your Accord is superior to an S2000.

By the way, to the casual observers, you can tell when someone knows they've been owned when their post size gradually decreases until they have nothing left to say.

i said my accord is better in the snow than the S2000 and i dont think anyone will argue with that. and if you have kids to haul around it would be better to have an Accord. i was just stating the good points for the Accord over the S2000. yes the S2000 looks better. yes the S2000 is faster stock. yes the S2000 has an insane insurance bill. yes the S2000 wouldnt make it in the snow. yes the S2000 would be faster on a road course. yes the new V6-6speed will give the S2000 a run for its money. i'm not saying it will beat it but it would be somewhat close. the S2000 is geared more for quicker acceleration. the S2000 is lighter i believe. the S2000 is a sports car and the Accord is a family car

Wow, he has some common sense. Except you left off the part about the S2000 owning any sort of Accord in the twisties.

just remember kiddies... fighting on the internet is like competing in the special olympics...

its uh... dumb. yeah.

By this arguments standards, I'm super lame for deciding to get an accord instead of the S2000. Could I afford it+insurance? Sure. But I like my accord just fine for some 20k less (used)

Oh, and for the *original topic* (yes, there was one here), F no don't boost your BRAND NEW CAR. At least wait until you hit 50k or something.

just my $.02

heh its OT but thats funny my cars a 99 and hasnt hit 50k yet lol... you could be waiting a while man.

but yeah like just about everyone out here said, dont do it, get some nice rims, drop it, tint the windows the basic stuff. give the car some break in time and give some people time to work on parts that work well with the car. youll be better off and the car will run much safer that way.
