The S2000, in 2000, was a sports car that was faster around a track than anything this side of a 911 Carerra and had the reliability of a Civic. It was the first RWD Honda convertible since the Honda S800. Drive one and you'll see why people paid $10,000 over MSRP. Back when it came out, the only competition was a $28,000 weaksauce Z3 with a 4 banger or a $45,000 Porsche Boxster. Most people that can afford the S2000 can afford a winter rat. But this is a topic for another day, the topic at hand is the 2003 Accord.

The Accord is nothing close to an S2000. The Accord is a FWD midsize car built with a family of 4 in mind...please do not compare apples and watermelons. I'm kind of questioning why the hell you would want to compare the S2000 and Accord in the first place

 

sorry people, im just a complete newb when it comes to cars, I just want some knowledge, i gues i wont turbo my car first. Here's my plan, im gonna get the car break it in for a couple month, then maybe get some rims.

I was driving around Elmont, NY when I saw a banner outside this ghetto looking shop that advertises among other things "Turbo from $600".....whaddya think? they strap on a blow dryer on the exhaust manifold and call it a day?

I'll be goin in there when the weather gets warmer, just to find out fer sure....

dude youre the one that brought the S2000 into this. i've driven an S2000 and i wasnt too impressed. it feels too heavy going through turns. i wouldnt spend $30k for one. maybe for $20k i would. i'll take my Accord anyway cause i can fit 4 people in it and still beat the S2000 in a race

 

He used the S2K to demonstrate that the new 6x6 Accord should be easier to attain than the S2K was when it was new. The 6x6 is still an Accord underneath, and the S2K is, well, an S2K. It is unique, and as well should have been hard to find and have a premium sticker. The Accord, while it may have a manual tranny for the first time with a V6, is still an Accord underneath. He made no mention of the practicality or insurance premiums. Only to demonstrate that the Accord 6x6 should not be gouged by dealers, nor should anyone have an extremely hard time finding one.

if youve read the whole statement you would read that i said i have driven one and i wasnt real impressed. yes they are nice cars but theyre nothing special

 

odd, tons coming here in canada a dealer offered me 36k cdn (2k off msrp) for a ex-v6 6-speed coupe with at cost discount on the bodykit.

i was just looking at an s2000 and out of the blue he tried to convince me to get the new accord because he learned i had a 02'.

i declined of course, accords are too heavy h:

 

I didn't mean taking one for a spin around the block. I meant diving into a hairpin turn and then nailing the throttle at the apex. That is where this car shines.
