98coupev6, You mentioned items that to my recollection were only avail on the typeS such as the VSA, & "better" engine. I suppose its better in terms of displacement, etc.. but appears that currently the Honda has an edge I feel comparing to the current TL-normal (which i've been comparing the whole time). Resale value I do not consider either as I keep my car until 200k+. Looks are subjective. I do not want Navi, why you do ask that about that? It was never mentioned since its optional on both acura/honda. I fully read your post too, but lots of it were regarding TypeS & had subjective "premiums" imho

The Accord EX V-6 pretty much matches up with the current 3.2TL Type S in equipment, save for a few extras. Probably will change for 2004.

unisold, my suggestion would be to wait a few months, see what the 2004 3.2TL is like, and then decide between that and the (then) 2004 Accord EX V-6.

Relax. I just figured you'd be able to make up the price gap with a nice Navigation system. I'd love to have one. VSA is only on the S, but that is the only one that is exclusive to that model. How about the SportShift? The better fit and finish? The bigger expanse of interior space? The nicer styling? The better service at Acura dealerships? But the Accord also has many plusses to it...the wood trim is much more believable, the engine is nicer (If you're looking at non-S), you get side curtain air bags, interior styling is nicer (IMO), voice activated navi is available, more cupholders, etc etc. Basically, it's almost apples to oranges. The TL is still riding on the old platform and is getting desperate for a redesign. I think it all comes down to what you feel you have in your piggy bank...the Accord is a great value(for what you get), while the TL is being surpassed by cars such as the Infiniti G35 and Lexus ES300.

What are your perogatives? Comfort, performance?

Why?

I LIVE on this forum but I've never so much as looked at the TL forum. Wouldn't posting on both get him the best possible depth of response? Just askin. . .seemed legit to me.

Just confusing, that's all. I would've asked what the accord offered that the TL didn't on this forum and what the TL offered that the accord didn't on the TL forum, since not many people on this forum know a lot about the TL.

You program two different positions of the drivers seat, and whenever you want it to go to one of them you press one of two buttons. Pretty neat stuff.

Depending on where you live, let car insurance be a factor also. I live in NJ and I am 20, can we say "Honda Accord?"
