I hope it's a 5 speed, that's what makes the car so fun. The K24 and 5 speed is really a great combination. What an engine and a transmission for a base model.

Your 0-60 should come somewhere between 7.4 and 8.2 seconds, depending on driver skill, and 1/4 mile should come in the low 16's. Car and Driver got an EX 4 banger 5 speed to go 0-60 in 7.5 and the quarter in 16.0, but that's a professional driver and conditions will, of course, vary alot.

Congrats on the new car and welcome to HAN  I absolutely love the Coupe. Great choice. What color is she?

Chris

8.2 secs is better than i expected to be unfotunately mine is an auto not a manual. I was goin for the lx v6 but it was rare to find so i just got the reg lx. I wanted a white one but the dealer only had black, red, and silver so i ended up with a black. Black is a tight color but its so hard to keep clean.

The automatic should do 0-60 from about 8.0-8.5 seconds then. It's a pretty damn good engine. Black looks really nice on that car

when i tested my 02 i4 5-speed manual with gtech various times, i got an average of 8.3 for my 0-60 run. my quarter mile was 16.7 in average. This was done at a track so its pretty accurate. Also, the gtech time and track times were pretty darn accurate. since ur car is an auto, im thinking maybe same as my car, if not unnoticeably faster. Just my guess.

Probably about the same, since his is a 5 speed auto and has a stronger engine.

I timed myself 0-60 with a stopwatch with my POS winter tires (NO dry traction...I can spin em by giving it half throttle in the dry, it's pathetic), and it drizzling like hell out (it was like 40 degrees) and I got 7.75 seconds. Not too bad. I'd imagine I'm close to 7.2-7.4 in the dry with S-03's...I'll test it out this spring.

lol......i feel ya......cause my stock bridgestone turanza tires are a fawkin POS too. They wouldnt stop spinnin when i slipped the clutch at 2500 rpm. They're just fawkin shi*ty as$ tires for any weather. They produce a grip of road noise too. Shiet.....i dont know why they slapped on michelin tires for LX and DX models and bridgestones for EX from factory. Are they smokin pot? they dont do that now tho for the 7th gen
