Default I need less rubber!

Think I'm gonna try to get the CL 16" rims for my Accord between now and the summer. I got a very, very conservative drop of 0.75" (H&R OE Sport), but I miss the handling of those Eibach Sportlines.

Now I just feel like I'm getting a whole lotta roll from my tires--which are a 60 series. maybe with the CL's 16", I can drop down to a 45 series or something.

CL 16s would be nice you could run 215 45 16s, assuming you have a 90-97 accord. expensive size though or you could try some 205 55 15s on your current wheels which will make a noticeable difference.

the problem is these 205/60/r15 Falkens were like $70/tire at sears. Came out around $350 I believe with all the road hazard bs and what not.

205/45/r16 would be nice. Hopefully my 0.75" drop is low enough to support that. I'd hate to regret selling the Eibachs. but that mean's I have to eat the cost of the CL rims + the cost of "low profile" tires.

how will I ever afford those two JBL BP1200.1s with expenses like that!:dunno:

:
205 60 15s? you got a 97 EX? those are probably worse than stock 195 60s cause they are bigger. get some nice 205 55 15s and you'll be impressed.

I saw tirerack.com has those Yokahama V4 Avids or something nother for $68. I'm pretty sure Discount Tire here in town matches tirerack.com + shipping if they carry the same item in stock.

nah those won't do much good, you need a real performance tire. If you need something with an all-season tread go for dunlop SP5000s, i have them now and what difference between 195 60 dunlop d60 a2s and 205 55 sp5000s. otherwise some kumho 712s, dunlop fm901s, or some other high performance tire. the avids are just a stock replacement type tire.
