sometimes after continued snowfall, my headlight housing is soooooo dirty, that the light won't properly shine through it. If I'm not up for washing the car yet, I'll just clean the headlights at the gas station with the windsheild cleaner thing.

maybe you just need to wash your car or something.

Actually there is no good post about HID since most if not all post related to HID gets deleted due to too much information.

Didn't you read my post??? THEY SUCK....there is a good chance that they'll blow in a couple of weeks or months. Buy them if you don't care about being able to see only 1/2 the amount of light than your stock halogens and seeing almost nothing at all during rain. sh*t, feels like i just wasted my time explaining how bad "xenon"/superwhite/plazma white bullsh*t. IF YOU REALLY WANT THAT "white" look, then just got for a pair of Sylvania Silverstars 9006 low beam bulbs and replace your low beams with them if you don't want to do the 9005 conversion.

 

It means to get your ass owned by the mods/admins and then be forced off the board.

Basically, he defied the moderators by posting semi-porn in his sig while whining about "freedom of speech" and refused to cooperate to the point where he was a nuisance. Hence he had a choice, leave or get banned. He left about 2 hours before he woulda been banned.

Buy Showoff brand off eBay... 9005 for the high beam... 9006 for the high beam. I have these in many friends rides and they havent gone out yet... in over a year... we are all very happy with them and I PROMISE you will be too. Don't pay too much attention to flamers around here... sometimes they get too pissed off, do what you want. If you want something a little better, but not quite as bright... get some Sylvania SilverStar's from your local auto parts store... they run about $50 for 2 bulbs... where as the Showoff's are about $30 shipped. Also, if you decide to do the conversion, which uses 9005 for your low beams too... it basically gives you more light... check this site out... it helps a TON:
