That's pushing it a bit isn't it. I mean, for a 17.1 gallon tank.

What's the most you all ever got in your 17.1 gallon tank?

Do you mean how low we've gone before we filled it up? I tend to fill it when it's 3/4 empty, for the fuel adds as a lubrication to the fuel pump.

By the way, gas prices must be ridiculous in your area.

I mean how much gas have you purchased on a single fill-up? I think I'd shiit my pants if I ever got anything more than 16.5 gallons in there. That means there was only about a half-gallon left in the tank!

As for me, if I can stretch a fill-up 'til Tuesday or Wednesday, I'll do it to get a better gas price per gallon. Also, when I'm travelling, I tend to push my car to the limits to cut down on the number of stops/fill-ups.

I ran out of gas last week. Long story, I won't bother with it. I put 2 gallons in from a gas can, then went to a gas station and only like 14.3 went in. Something isn't right here :eh:

I usually put in from 13.5-14.8 in. Never higher than 15.

i usually put in about 10-12 gallons at a time, the stupid guage reads below a 1/4 tank even when there is 5-6 or gallons left so I end up filling it to be safe. that's generally around 300 miles between fill-ups, i get 26-28mpg.

Usually $15 average with 1/4 left.
I'm so proud I have to brag, I got 33.33 mpg all freeway yesterday!!! And I usually get the worst fuel consumption, like 260 miles with 1/8 left. And I checked specs for the V6, its 18/25. Wonder if its the removed resonator and catback. Dunno...

actually, I was going 67 or 72mph on cruise control for most of it. Speed limit was either 65 or 70mph and I like to play it safe with 2 miles over the limit(got a ticket while back and still pissed off...or rather chicken). I even hit 100 for 2 minutes with these 2 modded hb civics until they exited together.

So in conclusion, HA!! :fawk:
