Default Need help with clutch

Heya everyone! Newbie to the board with a simple question I have a 1993 Honda Accord EX..Having some issues with my clutch tho' When you step on the clutch petal, i can hear a loud creeking noise coming from the clutch area on the tranny...I had my husband step on the pedal and I can see the pressure plate and boot thingy moves and that's when we can hear that noise..Sounds like walking in an old house! I would love some input before we buy a whole new clutch system...I wonder about the TO bearing needing some grease?

Thanks!

grease probably wont work. you might need a new throw out bearing. same thing happened to me in my civic and i just replaced the tranny instead of the bearing because its was easier instead of messing with the tranny and yours is a 93 so a tranny shouldnt cost but a couple of hundred. good luck

So where did you find a tranny for a couple of hundred--are you talking getting one from a junk yard and installing it yourself. Curious, cause I have about the same year.
