I think it looks good with or without it.

 

It's all personal taste as we can see from the responses. I think the 2nd Edition (96-97) 5th Gen Sedan needed the factory spoiler (I owned one), the 6th gen looked best to me without anything, the 7th gen, well you know what I picked.

To me the lip says, okay, this person took some time to customize, but kept it clean and classy. To me the factory spoiler makes the car look like a grocery cart. LOL
