Default 17" Rims "How Low can you go"

Is there anyone out there that has 17"rims on there accord?

If you do, how low where you able to lower you car and

what problem you ran in to ? like rubing in the back?

I don't have 17s, but if the wheel has the proper offset, rubbing shouldn't be much of a problem. I wouldn't go much over 2 inches though, just for driveability reasons though.

depends on how wide your wheels are. if your offset is +45 and rims are 7.0" wide. you can't rub.

but if they're 7.5" wide, you're pretty close. might need to roll the fenders a little bit. but should clear w/o much of a problem.

just for reference:

17x7.5 +45 offset. 215/40/z17's

slightly angled to let you see how flushed the rims are. car's lowered 2.5" w/ neuspeed race.

wow, i was down 2.5" on 17's with 215/45-17 tires, and my tires were up in the wheel wells... although I only rubbed if I had a 4 people in the car, or hit a really big bump. They would only rub on the plastic fender liners, not the fenders themselves.

i have the same set up as usc but on a fifth gen and eibach sportlines (2inches) they fit perfect....

I got 18s and lowered 2 inchs and have a 40 + offset and still don't rub so...

Does having that extra 1/2 inch make that much of a difference, or does it make more sense to get the 7in wide rims for a 6th gen.
