Default Sylvania Silverstar 9006/9005 Headlight Conversion...PICS

Ok guys I just did the 9005/9006 conversion with the Sylvania Silverstar. I got the bulbs for $45.75 with shipping plus I got a $10 rebate, so total I paid $35.75. I got them from www.suvlights.com All I can say is that I'm totally happy the way it turned out It took about 20 mins to do the whole thing, because my I couldn't find a small attachment for the Dremel so I used a small file and filed the pieces by hand. I can see a big difference between before and after. Anyone considering doing this, all I have to say is GO FOR IT!!!! Cheapest and best mod you can do... overall   check out the pics below and see for yourself

1) Front w/ OEM headlights

2) Front w/ Sylvania Silverstar 9005 conversion

3) Side by side comparison... Passenger side is w/ Sylvania Silverstar and the driver's side is with OEM bulb

4) OEM headlight pattern

5) Sylvania Silverstar headlight pattern

6) OEM headlight bulb.... driver's side

7) Sylvania Silverstar bulb... Passenger side

Looks good:thumbup: My entire family and my aunts all have Silverstars except for me.

Just aim it a bit lower if your at stock height.

If you didn't mind the yellowish color of stock you could of gotten OSRAM Silverstar and instead of 20-30% brighter then stock you could of gotten 50% brighter with stock with OSRAM SilverStar.

Looks good.

I've had the 9005 conversion for about a year, and I've never had anyone flash me.

Looks good man. I get people flashing their brights at me all the time with my PIAA's, but I don't even need the brights anymore.
