Are you guesstimating that 70% of the 5th gens were auto or is that a fact, that's interesting. I don't think auto tranny is an option, I think the manual tranny is the option, auto runs rampant. I know the Accord is Honda's upscale sedan, im not a noob to Honda's:doh:

I'm sort of guesstimating, but I am 99% sure I read that in an article about a year ago. The same article said that the 5th Gen V6(or at least the '95) was only available in automatic. As for auto being an option, I am not sure about honda, but it is listed as an option on the window sticker of new Toyotas (my girl bought a 2000 Echo, and the tranny was listed at like $700 on the sticker). Trust me, automatic transmission is normally an option which adds to the price of the car.
