Default Getting a CAI for my 5th gen

This is gonna be my first CAI install, is the install pretty much straight forward or are there some tips/tricks to it? On my Civic(4th gen) there was just the filter, intake tube, and a silicone tube that connected to the valve cover, is that what I can expect on the CAI as well?

The resonator is a *****, may want to remove the bumper. Then just remove all that crap attached to the stock intake pipe. Then in the directions it doesn't say what to do with the extra tube and the mess of hard wire that gets left hanging that attached to the TB. Remember to cover the vaccum line like it says in the directions.

Do you have an EX model? I installed mine, and my friends who has a 94 accord LX. There was a lot of crap I had to take out on mine, but his was no problem. I'll post pics on Sunday when I have some free time.

And...I didn't have to take off my bumper, just the splash guard above the front wheel....my buddy and I got the resonator out without jackin up the car.

its pretty easy i put mine in, in like 10 minutes, but thats because i had already removed my resonator from when i previously had a short ram intake.

I have a 94 LX too. All I have to worry about is removing the resonator? thats simple enough. are there any tubes that go from the intake to the valve cover or anything else?

theres one tube that connects to the stock pipe, that has a bunch of other tubes connected to it. i just hooked the new line they gave me up to existing one.

you can see it in this pics, its the little blue tube up by the throttle body.

Well, dude in San Jose faked on me:angry: f*cked off my day. Anyways, since you offered, can you take an up close pic of the rear right hand side of the hood when it's opened. Reason im asking is because I replaced my hood recently and the hose for the washer fluid came undone and I don't remember where that b*tch goes. Thanks:thumbup:
