I just hapend to be passing by acura dealership. I went in and looked at RSX. The tip is bigger than accords tip. Well like I said I was lookng for someting to replace my stock muffler with. I dont want crazy sound and so I was looking for someting quiet but maybe a little louder than my current one.

V6Master: I could have sworn the S tip was a little bigger. I know it's about a 1/2 inch bigger than our TL-S tips.

Edit.....I walked down the street with a measuring tape (lol--I was bored), they are the same size as the TL-S tips, actually they look like the exact same part. If there is a difference, I sure couldn't tell, but they had the same dimensions.

I'm seriously thinking about getting a RSX Type-S Muffler now for my accord. Though I have a 4th gen, i'm wondering if there will be any problems.... anybody know where i can get a hold of one for cheap? instead of going to dealership?

You may be able to find a used one on one of the RSX boards, but if you want a new one the best place to go is acuraautomotiveparts.net I think that is the website, do a search on yahoo or something if it's not, they have pretty good prices, much better than any dealership, although you'll probably have to order the muffler and the tip separately.

It is possible.........I always thought they were the exact same tips as the TL-S, or at least they look darn close. A guy down the street has a base RSX, and from the RSX-S's I've seen, they look the same, but I could be wrong. I know for a fact that the tips are the same between the Tl/Tl-s, so I'm just assuming acura did the same with the RSX.
