This is silly. Civics are quite loud because of the lack of sound deadning material under the hood. Dude your Accord is not a race car, not to flame you but - give it up. Be lucky that you own a family car and drive responsibly.

i think it's part of the cai intake. my friend and i both have aems and one day we were driving together and you can hear that light whistle sound (between 1-2k rpm) everytime we pull into a driveway. i dont think you can do anything about it.

Did I ever say that my car was a race car? Or even that it was fast? All I said was that it was loud and that I drive hard... as in I push my car...

I had that problem with my car also. I had a stereo system, and when I took it out it was fine. But go to your car and press the defroster button(the bigger one closer to the steering wheel). And if it on it makes a whistleing sound but when its off it doesent. I noticed that, and now they system is in my bros car and it does that......

I actually did that to my G2 integra....Monstar is not lying about the difference; it is noticable......the engine sounds really nice above 5k , and when you shift, you can feel the engine pulling a bit harder out of the gears.

in that case, the whistling or buzzing sound is coming from the speakers because a component in your system is grounded to the same place/piece of metal as the fuel control unit, other electric components, etc. and it gets feedback from them.

happened to a couple of my friends before.
