how do u change brake rotors on a 96 accord?

Default how do u change brake rotors on a 96 accord?

does anyone know the steps involved in changing the brake rotors on a 96 accord. are any special tools necessary? any help would be appreciated. thanks

u need something call a brake caliper remover and maybe a inpact wrench, but i say you should bring it to the shop if u dont know wut ur doing

what the hell is a brake caliper remover? You can change your rotors in your garage with basic tools, don't need anything fancy. Sure, air tools would be nice, but they aren't necessary.

Hey man, its pretty simple, nothin to worry about, take off your caliper, look for 4, 17mm bolts, two are in the open & the other two are on the back of the hub, holding the caliper to the hub, then there is two screws on the center of the rotor, take those out and youre rotor comes right off. Dont forget to push in the brake caliper piston to make room for your new rotor.
