Default Tranny slipping when turning?

This is when the engine is warmed up. It shifts perfect for the most part, BUT when I am starting from a dead stop making a right turn at the light, if I gas it a bit more than normal(where it'll shift to 2nd at 4k) while I turn, it feels as if it slips a little before it catches into 2nd.

Has anyone experienced this? Is this normal? It only happens when I turn while gunning it a bit. Other than that it shifts great.
Thanks. BTW, I have 64k miles now which probably is irrelevant for Honda's auto trans.

I didn't think about that. Thanks. But is that normal for the torque converter to do that? or do you mean something might be wrong with it?

and your sure its not your tires slipping, then causing the tranny to do something wierd? i know it sounds dumb, but that's what mine does.

Possibility. Stock rubber doesn't grip, and it can slip impercceptable amounts, but you'll feel it through a slipping transmission. That happens occassioanlly if I nail the sh!t out of the Accord in 1st gear.

hmm, maybe, but it doesn't make a squeek sound like it does when i really gas it and it peels our on a turn. But that would make a lot of sense. Thanks, that might just be it.

my car spins out REALLY easy... im on stock 14's with a lot of tread, and if im at a stop, making a right on a slight incline, my front right wheel spins like crazy.

Bad alignment, misconfigured suspension (lower springs on worn shocks), or just plain blown shocks can cause slippage too.

Don't take it lightly, worn suspensions reduce your car's responsiveness significantly! Before I installed my suspension, my car was lowered with Sprint springs and really worn (probably blown) stock shocks. I would accelerate hard on a turn and basically can't keep myself on the lane I wanted to end up in...instead would kinda "drift" to the further lane. NOT A GOOD THING!
