Mine ain't real fast but I do have a decent kill record for a 150k+ auto dx accord....... with only three mods.... intake, Ignition, and a modified exaust.........
99 BMW 323i
02 V6stang
95 stang GT 4.6L
96 maxima
every civic I have ever raced
99extreme ranger
94 h22 Lude
modified crx
modified probe

I really never get many chances to race where i live every body is scared of cops.... I want to race a h22 swapped accord and a 03 but I never get the chance...
One day I will reveal my secret to all my kills... Brad knows why!!!

i suspect i have cams though, as my first dyno did 176hp and 152 ft lbs of torque...and since then i added the flywheel and vafc...i should be able to make 200hp to the ground next time i get on the dyno.
about the only thing i ahv planned is a rebuild next year....nothing fancy there, just going to sleeve it run 10:1 forged pistons...that way i never have to worry about broken ringlands. [/B]
Since the flywheels doesn't actually give you any hp, you think the VAFC will give you an additional 24hp???

I doubt it!

flywheels dotn MAKE horsepower, they free up horsepower, meaning about 8 horsepower through the entire range. i got those figures from a loal tuner who has owned a prelude for nearly ten years. next, he is able to make about 20 hp on the dyno with a vafc...and i went with his baseline settings....
the figure of 176hp was only at 6900 rpm, and h22's peak more like 7200-7400...so i figure 5 more for the dyno guy screwing up and not taking it to the peak, 6 for the flywheel, and mybe 12-14 for the vafc....
the figure i talk about is horsepower to the ground...if you want crank hp its more like 220+

OK - that makes sense then.
How much hp would you think a tuned V-AFC would make on the f22b1? I was thinking about getting one since it would transfer over to an H22 if I were to do the swap.

My 1995 EX V6 is the fastest car that I have had - on the top end. I have had it to 135mph with more room to go, but the stock suspension was starting to get a little dodgy so I backed off. I've got a set of Bilstein shocks on order.

What I want is a ROAD car, as opposed to a STREET car, if you get my meaning. The Accord is one of the nicest road cars I have ridden in. When you look at the engineering that's gone into the double wishbone suspension, and the quality of assembly - it's not hard to be impressed with the value. Where I live, BMW's are out of the question simply because there are no dealers around. The handful of people around here who have a BMW complain about the expense and delay in getting even simple repairs done. When I bought the Accord I figured it was the most 'exotic' car I could get reasonable parts and service for.
