accords werent made to be fast. However, i think they do a very good job of getting you where you want to go. Accords are all mid range based, so you have pretty good amount of torque getting upto highway speeds and other stuff. Their burn is the very low redline, but hey, it does its job of being a very reliable and quality family car more than appreciatively.

If I came up to a light with my accord and some guy had an e36 bimmer with a dinan supercharger right next to me, I'd urinate in my pants. And that bimmer isn't even comparitavely that amazing (compared to a tricked out supra or something)...

I like my accord because its cheap and I can afford the insurance. It's not my dream car but its better than a ford escort or some such crap. Ahhh, being a broke student is awsome.

 

i think accords are more than something you should be satisfied with. I live in LA and in the mornings, i see lots and lots of people crowding into the bus stop to catch the Metro bus to their work. Accords are aimed for mid class family and believe me, lots of people cannot afford accords and envy those who ride on one. They are built with great amount of quality, comfort, reliability, luxury on EX models with leather, and a decent motor that u cannot complaint about. Lets be thankful for what we have because there are way too many people that do not have what we have = an excellent daily driver that looks and performs like a winner (always being selected in the 10 best cars 10 years running) = accords.

I ran low 16's once lol... My car isn't fast but it's damn quick... I have driven all of my friends' cars and compared to them, none of them rich... my car feels much quicker... among the list is a new 4 cyl. Eclipse... and my car is faster... not kidding you.
