well chances are that if the clutch grabs high, its worn out, and possibly on its way out.

this is true, however, like mine, it could be a case where it was adjusted before and isn't right. The clutch pedal should be even with the brake pedal. I didn't know that when I bought the car but it only took a couple minutes to fix this problem. I stalled the car on the way out of the shop, it grabs hella soon now:thumbup: Just get it done, its free, and will also let you know if your clutch is the problem cause if it starts grabbing high again or slips, then it's obvious where the problem is.

3 months later and my clutch is still fine:thumbup: still grabs as soon as it did the day it got adjusted, sounds like my clutch is fine, but I just got a CAI today, getting a header and catback soon, want to upgrade the clutch, any suggestions? It's a 94 Accord LX 5 speed.

just did a clutch on my 94 last weekend...seems you just need to adjust your pedal however...theres a locknut behind the pedal and another adjusting nut back there, use two wrenches and loosen the locknut, then back off the adjusting nut and retighten the locknut...done. If you do happen to get into replacing the clutch, the dealer wants about 5-600....you can get a lifetime warranty clutch kit and do it yourself for 125+30 to machine the flywheel. Its a pain, and its gonna take you at least a full day to do (took me 10hrs and ive done it before), but its rewarding to know you did it yourself and saved so much $$$$$$ If you do it, dont mess with a Haynes manual...its worth your 60 bucks to go get a helms...so much more detail....
