Default Engine Won't START!!! HELP!

Ok, this started to happen since the beginning of this week.

When I turn the key to start the engine, it made a clicking noise and did not start at all. I waited a few seconds and turned the key again and this time it started. Same thing happens everytime i try to start my car and today, it totally scared the sh*t out of me.

I went into a store to get something and when I tried to start it, IT DID NOT START. It kept making the clicking noise and did not start. I did what the Manual told me to do and i kept trying to start it with 10 second intervals, but with no luck. Suddenly, after spending almost 15 minutes in the parking lot trying to start the car...it finally started with a hesitant vroom. I drove home to check it and i can't visually see anything that is wrong with the car. I tried starting the car again, but this time, the "CHECK ENGINE" light turns on and it REMAINs on when i keep the key into the START II position. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR?

Update: Oil Change 1,000 miles ago, Full Tank of Octane 89 Fuel this Morning, 56,600 miles on the car.

Could be related to the weather? The lows here is around 30 degrees and highs in the 50s. Check my setup on my sig. PLEASE HELP!

i just called my local Honda Dealer about that and they said that they're currently out of stock on the Ignition Switches. Will they void the recall service because of my Intake and exhaust???

No they won't. If you have a remote starter, they will undo the wires and won't connect them back tho.

Battery or Alternator was my first guess, but then you said you got it started after 15 mins so I don't know what it could be. A short in a fuse? Ignition wires frayed? Don't know exactly.

It sounded exactly like your battery, but I don't know. If you were able to start it eventually maybe it had a little juice left that it was able to gather. :dunno:

Go Pour Some Sprite On Both Terminals Of Your Battery Then Give It 5 Mins, Soak Up Excess With A Towel, Wait Another 10, Then Start It, Betcha She'll Crank Back Up No Prob

How Do I Know, Cause My Car Use To Do It & I Got Sick Of My Alarm Embarrasing The **** Outta Me When It Happened, So I Figured Out A Solution. So Obey Your Thirst LOL
