personally i'd wait.... it's supposed to be a nasty winter here on the east coast this year and some parts of PA have already had snow.

Yeah, it snowed at my house on October 29 or 30, I don't remember which. That's nothing for SD, where I was born, but for out here snow in October is almost unheard of. I love snow, except for when it makes driving more of a pain than a joy.

I wasn't on the mild east coast for the 96 winter -- I was on the deserted plains of South Dakota. Talk about blizzards! October to April was non-stop blowing snow -- I think we got 99 inches that winter, but out there it all drifts against anything that will stop the wind. Cows were standing on barn roofs, even. You want cold, let's talk about the 60-below wind chill factor.
