it's very possible to do something like that. it couldn't be harder than supplying power, fusing the source, and grounding it.

You could also pull them from a 96-97 accord. I'm not sure the wiring would be too fun though.

The wireing shouldn't be no more then tapping int the existing dome light.

so i can do that?
cause i was thinking i'd have to run the wire under the head liner
to the driver side A pillar and then down to the fuse pannel
I don't want to **** with the fuses and sh!t i'm not the best with that stuff
I want it to go on with the other dome light though, but also be hooked up right
and what about what Eklypse39 is saying

just run it under the head board to the exhisting wires in the center dome light that way they will come on when your car comes on... and as for the map lights.. you can just run those to a 12 volt power source too... try the always on positive wire for the maps... and the positive wire that comes on with door open for the other lights... that you want to come on with open door... most likely there are 3 wires under the exhisting dome light... positive for the on switch, positive for the door switch, and negative... hope that helps

does the legend light have a dome light, and then seperate map lights?? or is it just map lights??

In my car I added the 97 style first, then replaced it with a 99 CL homelink system. The wirring for the stock dome light runs up the passenger side a-pillar... just be sure not to tap into the parking light wire for the vanity mirror light. The dome light trigger is a NEGATIVE... so the dome light is constantly supplied with a positive feed, when you open a door, it grounds the light... or when you flip the switch on the light, it also grounds it.

In my case, the 97 style light is just 2 map lights... but I also wanted them to come on when you open the door, but still have them operate independently, like they normally do. So I had to run a seperate wire, and diode isolate the 2 lights... making them operate together when a door is opened, but still be independent when a "map light" button is pressed

Eklypse39: I love your sig.

To answer the question, I think getting one from a 96-97 Accord would be your best bet. The only problem you would probably face is the wiring but its definately possible.
