Default Simple improvements for 3rd gen Accord?

Ok, I'm new to the whole import car scene (I am a domestic truck person), but I've had my car about a month now and am curious if there are any simple upgrades and/or imporvements I could do to it to improve performance? I have an '87 Accord DX, 2.0L 5-speed. I believe I have a 4-1 exhaust manifold, right? Are there any other cars that have the 2.0L with the 4-2-1 exhaust manifold that would drop right in? What about intakes? I don't want to put alot of money into my car, maybe a couple bucks here and there but basically just simple stuff. I've read a little about the poor man's CAI, but I don't think that applies to me since I couldn't find an air resonator behind my fender lining. (I think that apllies mostly to the newer Accords.) Basically, if you know any thing that I could do to my car myself and/or without draining my bank account I would appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance for any and all info.

the LX-I model would have a 4-2-1 manifold. Your car is not fuel injected, so your right, theres no intake resinator and no real route for a CAI... you can, however, get a K&N filter for it.

The DX didnt have a ton of power to it... I used to have one... and getting power out of that engine is pretty difficult.

I'd say look for a cheap LX-I engine... but theres a lot invloved being you'd be upgrading to fuel injection.
