Hey Blue,

Congrats on the purchase. I absolutely LOVE the 7th Gen Honda Accord Coupe, as pretty much everyone else does. It is an absolutely beautiful car inside and out (save its "grille") and has tons of luxury and refinement. I guess you got the auto because you encounter traffic jams, but the 5 speed on the 2.4L 4 banger in the new Accord is so damn slick...did you try it out? What a transmission and what a smooth engine. You can't even tell it's a 4 banger until you get to the top of the tach when you hear a metallic noise...it's a great engine.

I can go on and on about the car...I absolutely love it and never dreamed Honda would do such a great job with it, especially the interior. Damn what a great interior. Good luck on your car bro, and post some pics

Oh, and be sure to check out the Automotive News and Rumors Forum

Get this, some people actually use there car because they DRIVE IT! I dont blame you for getting the auto because being stuck in traffic and having a manual really sucks. Enjoy your new car and keep it clean. I am doing the same with my ride and i'm sure you will enjoy yours. The new accords are growing on me the more I see them so good luck with it. Welcome to Honda-Acura.net and please post some pics when they become available. Thanks!

I actually prefer the auto too. A manual tranny is nice when you want to tear it up for the day or go to the track, but driving in gridlock traffic every morning and evening, it is wise to choose an auto. People always say "get the manual", I'm different, I prefer the car to do the work! If I was getting a porsche or ferrari, it would certainly be a manual, but not on a honda accord.

I prefer a manual in every situation...mainly because I live in Upstate NY, not Southern California.
