my car was stolen yesterday
the cops called me today and told me that they found it in georgia avenua in DC.
i asked him to tell me the damages and he said
i think from what i see that they took 1 airbag
they broke and removed the side mirros
damage on the steering whee lock
they took my stereo so they broke all the plastic peices there to pull it ou
and other damages
i thnk the dasboard is ****ed up too.
i have not see my car yet

my insuace is covering everything but if the dealer asks them for a lot of money they will say no and they will just give me the value of the car right?

never had a problem like that

btw the cops also told me we have ther fingerprints and we will find them

 

They'll only find them if they have those fingerprints in their database, otherwise forget it. Good luck with the insurance claim, sometimes they're a$$holes when it comes to aftermarket equipment. Have your receipts with you when they come out to see the car.

sorry to hear that bro, your car is prolly fawk up. and the insure are sh**ty too. Like 99HACoupe said, have your receipt ready, nice insure will repay you, others won't. because they said that you did not notified them when you added those in, so they take no responsibility.

im glad u got ur car back at least, scary thing is, u said ur car was jacked in the Nordstrom parking lot in montgomery mall... OMG, thats scary as CRAP!!! i just recently broke up with my girlfriend who i dated for a loooong time(years+), and i used to park at that exact parking garage on the first floor, in the back even(u even parked in the front), at all days and times, to visit her or pick her up to go out. i've waited there an hour b4 even... OMG< i would have thought ur car got jacked in that parking garage where the eatery is... goes to show, no where is safe. that eatery place is where all the rice boys and ghetto kids jack bumper lenses, and badges, so i cant believe u got jacked at the nordstroms, where its peaceful and full of old people and expensive cars, there so many benzs and bmws there, man, that sucks they targeted ur car.

i went and saw my car today

brand new battery is gone
HIDs are gone
intake is gone
BOTH airbags are gone
stereo is gone
all my cd's are gone
a bag with tools is gone
fog lights are gone
ignition is gone

cops took their fingerprints
they called me twice to tell me that they have thir ID and that they will do their best to find them
if they do find them you are all invitd to the court room

****ing assholes
the cops found my car in a ghetto area in dc
my car is still there at a towin company
i could pick it up today with AAA but i was told to let my insurance pay for the towin to the dc compnay if not i had to pay today
my insurace will cover everything but no hids and intake
i know its a lot of damage
a part of me wants to declare it totalled and my other part says no get it fixed
