I bought them new from the dealership (got raped)........had them installed at a local shop. Cost 75 bucks for the install, which was fine with me, I can do engine mods myself usually, but when it comes to wires and electrical stuff I leave it to the pros I do know they had to be custom fitted to fit in the housing, but I don't think it entailed too much work. I should have watched the install, but I just dropped the car off before work and picked it up afterwards and everything was completed. I'm thinking about upgrading to the 6000k bulbs, but I'm not sure of the hassle in changing out the bulbs, plus the cost of the 6000k bulbs is around $300 if I'm not mistaken. Honestly I think it would be easier to just buy an aftermarket HID kit that would be easier to fit, it's probably cheaper and made to fit into the accord housing better. Sorry I couldn't be more help
