With the rubbing alcohol, it'll take it off before you know it. I didn't do it over the entire surface, just the larger areas and tried to get a couple swipes in the corners. I figured that it eliminated the need to primer. Worked well on the new black housing corners I'm making right now.

I know this is off the topic, but I know you did the blue led conversion on your heater a/c controls, did you change the lights in your guage cluster too? do you still have the stock guages or did you get reverse indiglo's? if you didn't change that light, how much of a difference is there between the blue led's and the greenish light for your guage cluster?
