long story short, i replaced the rotors on my 96 accord lx and now every time i reverse or drive forward, i hear a knock; but the knock only comes by once, whether forward or reverse, and it will come back again once transmission is shifted to the opposite gear is was in. the knock sound comes from the left side and it's very audible by the outer/inner tie rods and by the rotors.

btw, i might add that the knock comes right before the hard brake.

 

Problem fixed: it was four loosen flange bolts, lol.

 

what flange bolts? the strut flange?
