Default Replacing 1999 Accord Factory Stereo with Aftermarket Deck

I need a little help here. I just bought a 99 Accord and I want to replace the factory stereo with my Pioneer deck. I was reading some stuff on how to swith them and came across a few facts I didn't know. If I replace the unit, am I going to lose my keyless entry? If so, is there any way to replace the stereo and keep the keyless? ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Josh

No, you won't lose your keyless entry. That was an issue with the Civics of that time frame.

Yea, I decided to go ahead and try it anyway and it worked fine. Now on to the rest of the car. Does anyone know exactly how to replace the front door speakers in a 4 door 99 accord? I can't seem to find anything that tells me how to do it the right way so some help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

to remove the door panel to get at the speakers is no big deal. you'll have a screw in the door handle and one in the power window switch/pull closer in the door. next you'll need to gently pull the panel away from the door, you can start just about anywhere (I usually start at the back of the door and work forward and it doesn't take a lot of effort.) slide the panel up and pull the top away from the window sill and don't forget to disconnect the light at the back of the panel. Oh there is a small triangle at the front of the door, it only pushes in so gently pull it strait out away from the door. good luck and have fun..... later

Thanks man. It was alot like my 95 silverado I had so once I realized the basic layout of everything, it was easy from there. Thanks again.
