Does anybody know what the difference is between the 2 door and 4 door side mirrors on the 98-02 Accords? I know that they are different part numbers according to Honda but was wondering if it is possible to modify a 2dr set of mirrors to fit on a 4dr model? How much work is involved? Is it even possible or worth the effort of going through? Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

 

If you dont know if there's a difference why do you want to do it?

 

my friend's 98 accord 2 door mirrors do not pivot (are not spring loaded)... they are fixed... all the 4 door mirrors i've seen pivot

 

I do know that there is a difference between the two but Im just not sure what exactly it is. My main concern is if a set 2dr mirrors can be installed on a 4dr vehicle. Does anyone know if there is a different mounting setup or if the holes are different or something. I don't really care if it doesnt pivot or if the wiring is different. I can fix that stuff pretty easily.
