I agree with you, like maybe have a secret way to get in under the car on the passenger side(drivers side would be too obvious) and don't tell any one, like some how use tour old lock and don't tell any one - complicated i know but kind of a neccessity, maybe if your a mechanical engineer you could figure it out- well that was my idea for when i do shave the door handles I guess I'll have to do something different now

Do you have any other pics of the handle after you drilled it out. or any other tips. I might just re-open this modification to thought now since you got it to work. thank you!

Here are the only others that I have of it right now. This is the latch rod that will connect into the rear handle once you drill out the brass looking piece. It will have the same hole like the front one did so you will just have to snap it in. The rod is kind of hard to pop out of the front handle so be patient with it.

Here is a pic of it from the back once mounted. Notice the 10mm bolt and that the hole is drilled out a bit larger. This is for mounting purposes. You will need to bend the mount on the door itself so that it will line up wit the new handle. Also there is one on the other side that you cant see in the pic that needs to be bent also. This is the only real modification/fabrication that needs to be done.

I am doing that but only to my pass side front door. I like having the key hole in the driver side JUST IN CASE.

People with shaved door handles do it all the time. Anyway I have a backup alarm battery that still runs my alarm even if the main battery dies.Could run a secondary hood release so that I could get to the battery to boost it off.
