Default Rebuilding PS Pump -- Update

Slowly but surely, every single gasket is now leaking on my PS pump ... no weird noises, have changed all but the HP hose.

How hard is it to rebuild with the PS kit you can get for these? Anybody tried it?

Why not just buy a refurbished one? They're only like $60

$60 ??? From where? Honda wants $231 for a R/M (no core) and Autozone's cheapest one is $150 (after core).

OK ... $105 @ O'Reillys ... I can't find it any cheaper then that. But I've seen all these places offer the seal and bearing kits for them for $15.

Didn't somebody have a service manual they were referencing??? I thought it was one of you guys ...

u need to become good friends w/ mechanics and/or body shop places. or any one w/ a tax license. once u make connections, everythign will be the cheapest u can find, pretty much.

Nice . Have you had the timing belt changed at the correct interval? If not you could have that done as well at the water pump when you go in to have it serviced. If you have had the timing belt replaced then my question would be why the water pump wasn't done at the same time

Well, I have friends in lots of places ... I don't make them just for my gain ... I thought someone was buying them from a normal place.

I'm talking PS (Power Steering) ... belts always done on time, pump has been included the last couple of times ... first time I don't think they did (in 1998 so I don't recall).
