Default Door Weatherstripping

Has anybody ever changed the weatherstripping on their Accord doors? I have a 1993 DX 4 door sedan with the large rubber door gaskets going on all 4 doors. I would like to keep the cost down and do it myself, and would like to hear if anyone else has been there and if they have any advice.

Are there any websites that specialize in helping do-it-yourselfer's fix their Honda's?

u'll have to pull out the door panel, then take out the window. and then pull out the weather strip.

before putting the new one on, clean the parts taht it slides on to (just wipe em off w/ a towel. Then very lightly spray some "WD-40" on those parts so that teh strips would slide on very easy.
Use WD40 because it evaporates, most other lubricants dont.

Then after u're done putting the strip on, lubricate the inside of the seals. This will help the windwo slide up and down easy. Then put everything back together.

do u know how to remove the door panel?
On the door handle, after u remove the screw, u'll have to slide the cover towards the front of the car and then pull it out.
after taht i think there're a couple of more screws aroudn that u'll have to get out.
The bottom is held in by clips so u can just pull on the panel and it'll come right out.

to take out the windows, u just have to roll em up to the point where u can see the two bolts that hold the windows to the regulator. Just put in a 10mm socket and remove them and take out the window.

use prestone silicon spray or whatever brand silicone spray u can find. silicone spray will not dry out the rubber and lubricates the moving parts just fine. it will dry quickly also. wd 40 dries out rubber.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your responses. Without forums like this the world would be a very expensive and frustrating place to live!
