Default Snow Chains

How many tires should I put snow chains on my 2005 Accord EX-V6?

The owner's manuals says to only put on the front tires and to use the vendor Security Chain Company (SCC).

However, SCC says to put the chains on all tires. And, I can only locate one type of chain recommend in the manual. Does it really matter on the vendor and model # or as long as it's the same type of chain reco'ed by Honda?

Any reco's/thoughts?

Where the hell do you live that you need chains? I got through a 180" snow winter in Syracuse a couple years ago just fine with a decent set of snow tires.

Either way, it's pointless to put chains on the rear. They're really only useful for starting traction.
