Yah a v6 coupe will win against a 5th gen LX 5spd. I raced my boy with a 5th gen LX 5spd, with CAI and exhaust. And repeatedly beat him from a stand still and a roll. From a stand still, he will jump out first and get the lead, but by the end of my 1st, I catch up and pass him. My 6th gen only has a CAI.

Me in my 01 Accord V6 raced my friend in his 96 Honda Accord EX 5spd w/ I/E/H/V-AFC and I beat him by 2 cars.

Indeed. Two more cylinders mean more torque, and that's where the ass-kicking comes in.

i lost to a 5th gen in my v6...

maybe it was a h22a...

i see in your mods you have a gude head package. I'm considering doing that as well. How much did it cost you? what kind of performance did you see? and did you have to replace your valves as well?
