Default Does a !990 Honda Accord have a fuel pump?

I have a 1990 Honda Accord that won't start. I suspect taht the fuel is not getting to the engine, but I'm not sure if the car has a fuel pump. I tried looking for it, but I don't see it. Can anyone tell me if this car has a fuel pump? If there is no fuel pump, how is fuel fed to the engine and is there a way to test if the fuel is being pumped to the engine?

Thanks....

Fuel pump is in the back (trunk) under a little plate. If there are two plates one is the fuel pump on is the fuel level senser. The fuel pump has the lines on it (2). First off do you hear your fuel pump turning on it should run for 2 seconds to prime the system when you just turn the key on. If you do not it may be your main relay. Have you checked spark? Do you have a CEL?

Thanks, I'll take a look and let you know if I fix the problem. So far I can tell you that I don't hear the fuel pump when I turn the key. Plus I disconnected the fuel line that's connected to the engine from the fuel filter and tried to start the engine. No fuel came out. Where's the main relay and what's a CEL? I haven't checked for a spark yet, but I will if the pump is good.

Problem solved.... The problem turned out to be the main relay. The website provided by Wedley2 turned out to be invaluable. It not only showed me how to locate and remove the main relay, but it also provided instructions on how to test the main relay using the car's battery and a few wires. The test confirmed that main relay could not turn the fuel pump on. Thanks to all.... you save me a lot of time and expense.

If your spelling was better I bet you'd have offended some people.

Default Is there another commonly used name for Honda Accord main relay

Hello Everyone,
Is there another commonly used name for a Honda Accord main relay because I'm having trouble finding it under that specific name when I visit auto parts websites? Thanks in advance.
