Default wheel offset

I'm new here and I'm pretty sure this is probably an easy question, but I can't seem to find the answer...

I own a 2001 Accord EX V6 and I'm trying to find out the stock wheel offset. I want to buy aftermarket wheels to replace the stock ones but I don't want to change rim size or anything (weird, I know!). I want to get the new ones to fit as close as possible to the originals, but to look much better!

Anyone know the answer or where I can find it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I believe they're +55mm. Good luck finding a lot of aftermarket wheels in that offset. Mine are +42mm.

Thanks, I think that's what it will take. Called the local Honda dealer and they said +53. Sounds like an awkward number to me so I'm not sure if it's right. Hopefully the wheel guys can help me out.

Seeing that I just told him they're +55mm, which I know to be true. He'd know too if he would have searched.

Finding a +55mm aftermarket rim is going to be difficult. It'll look ugly as shit too.

+50mm isn't far off and looks fine. I have a 17x7.5j ET50 on our TSX looks fantastic, needed the wider rim for 235-45-17 tires.

Several companies also sell near +55 offset rims as well. BBS has a few in the +52 or +53 I think. RonJon wheels stocks several +50mm as well if I recall.
