Ok so after some considerable time and thought. Im seriously thinking of doing a H22 or F20B swap. however I got to thinking and i dont wonna have to bild a new tranny. so questions is will a F23 manual jdm tranny fit on a h22/f20b?

I believe it will but, the gear ratios are going to be alot different.

Like how much different? just courious i can handle a little diff. ive got almost 3000 in my tranny and it would be a shame to have to do that all over again. would i be able to put my Stage 2 clutch and flywheel into the new one? that would cut back on replacment coasts.

The F trannies are considerably longer geared. I don't know if this hold true for the F20b tranny, but it does hold true for the F22/F23.

the f20B is not a good engine for the accord because it has less torque than any other engine. it's a VERY high revving engine designed for top end power. if anything, go H22/H23. the gear rations for the F23 are long and best for boost. the H22 tranny are the shortest. i recommend the H23 tranny which is a compromise between the two.

Ok so i realize that this is the stupid person question but i have to ask? from what im hearing the F23 tranny and the h22 with a turbo where made for each other. Plans are to boost the h22 anyways so with that in mind i should in all actuallity stick with the F23 tranny due to the longer gears right? this is my logic anyways. longer gears mean i can get more out of the turbo due to spin up ect ect. is this right?
