Default Need Advice on Wheel (change it or fix it)

I hit a curve few days back. Now my wheel is bended a little. My tire shop guy told me to get a new wheel which will cost me about $250.00 at honda dealer. so, the tire is wiggling a little bit. At this point I just wanted to know what is the consequences of driving a car with bended (little) wheel at the rear. Because I don't have money to change the wheel right now. Is it possible to fix the bended wheel? Please help me if you know anything to solve this problem. Wheel bended about 2-5 degree.

get that wheel from ebay. you can easily find one for less than 50 bucks.
or get one from the junk yard, they'll probably give you one for like 100 bucks w/ the tire.

and ur better off not fixing that wheel cause your balance will be way off, even after balancing them, they'll loose it again.

the the rim is bent... you should replace it.

not replacing it will cause the tire to wear unevenly and/or vibrations at high speeds.

like nspec saod... check ebay or the junkyards around you.

Even if you got it fixed it would cost more or just as much as if you were to replace it. Are they aftermarket?

Here is one one ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Honda-98-99-00-A...QQcmdZViewItem

Better off paying that than 250 from honda.

As has been said, replace. I bent the rim on my old camaro. I attempted to repair it myself which was probably stupid. I got it back to pretty much the same shape it was before but it still never rode the same.

It can be fixed.

Check out this...

I've never done this, so I don't know... but they've been around awhile, so it's not a new company. There's probably other places that do the same thing.

I wouldn't trust hammering & straightening it yourself. That gives you a substantially weakened wheel unless you know how to work with the heat treating.
