Default 84 Accord Overheating

I have an 84 Accord that is overheating. I replaced the thermostat already. Also, with AC turned on both fans spin, so the fan motors are good. Is the temp sensor in this car on the bottom passenger side of the rad? Also, what is a sure way to test the water pump. Thanks in advance.

does the fans come on when it's overheating ? if not check or replace the thermoswitch on the radiator that controls the fans and does it overheat with the a/c on?

The fans only come on when the AC is on and it seems to continue overheating even with them running. I am starting to lean towards water pump. Any ideas how to check for circulation?

Could be a malfunctioning water pump or a broken thermostat that's not opening.

to check for circulation both upper and lower radiator hose should be hot since you replaced the thermostat , if the fans never came on while overheating the fan switch on the radiator is a good start.
