Default radio and dash lights cut out for a split second several times last night....

ibsearch h: (the computer im at keeps timing out h: )

it happened 3 times last night while I was driving. The radio and gauge lights cut out for a split second... and came back on. I dont remember if the engine cut out too... i'll pay attention next time.

Im guessing it may be the ignition switch?

98 V6.

Weird...The same thing happened to me in my '94 EX last night. I remember starting the car up and turning the headlights on, but I didn't have any gauge lights for a couple seconds. Then they flickered and came on.

It could be the multiplex, ignition switch, dimer switch and some times i have herd of an aftermarket radio causing light problems.

The multiplex and the ignition switch are some times covered under a recall.Call you dealer and have them do a vin status and get the free stuff first.

i'm just kidding. its more than likely ur dimmer control. if not, than it could be the ICU. Its on the fuse box, (under dash) above the fuses, it should be either a white or brown box, measuring about 4x3 or 5x4. You can just pull that out and replace it.

It has a one plug going to it.
