My friend has a 5th gen with eibach prokit and GR-2's. The ride quality is much stiffer and better tan with teh oem struts. He rode on the oem's with the eibachs for about 6 mos. They did not blow, but when He put on the GR-2's there was a big difference. GR2's ARE PERFORMANCE STRUTS! People say not to buy them cause they don't want to feel like they got ripped off on their $400 struts.

2 things though,
They aren't adjustable (of course)
And they are not reccommended for drops over 1.5"

That is why they are perfect for my prokits (1.5" drop)

just my $0.02

Cool, I have a 5th gen too and wanted to get them(gonna get em now ) but peeps said don't waste the $$$, get AGX. Now that I have heard from people who have them and are happy w/them I might spring for em, if they will mate up well w/Neuspeed sports. Those springs lower 1.5 in the rear, 1.75 up front, think I'll be ok?

I wouldn't think that the GR-2's would take the 2.5" drop since they're made for 1.5" to 2.0" drops. That's pushing it when you go past 2" but I since it worked out for ya i'm glad to hear it.

where are you guys buying them at?
