The fastest Accord ran a 16.5 at 89mph on April 8, 1999.

Accord's are not fast, hands down. The V6 6spd is pretty damn quick though.

I would agree. A Comptech super-charger on an Accord V6 LX coupe (98-99) is about as fast as a daily driver Accord will likely be for some time. It was the last time an Accord was fairly light for the power to weight ratio.

A 98-00 Accord 4cyl weighs less then a current 06 Civic Si. Amazing isn't it, a Civic now weighs more then 3000lbs.

doesn't matter none of the fast ones were ever available in the states. The Type-R and JDM Euro-R may qualify. I'll nod to the Type-R because of the 200+ hp H22 and the pre-airbag crazy lighter body.

You won't find ANY 13secs. OE Hondas, period. And I doubt many would be viable as a dailer driver that could do 13sec. either.

I'm not here to bash he only has 35 posts, there just aren't really any fast Accords in the states OEM per say.

If you want faster 4cyl that's not a Civic I suggest a 97-01 Prelude.

Else, the Acura CL-S 2003 6speed is another good Accord used if you will.

If you need 4 doors I'd look for a used WRX or Evo8, both are much faster then an Accord. Else a 96+ 1.8T Audi A4 is a good sedan for tuning as well on a budget.s
