Hi All, I got a strange problem with my accord (97 v6 4dr). My driver side power window and rear driver side power window are acting strange. Sometime they will open/close while other times they won't so I am keeping them close always.

This morning I opened driver side door panel looking for any loose connection but everything looked snugly fit. I also found a strange pattern today, if I try to open/close these two window with driver side door closed (from driver console), most of the time they do not work. But if I open the driver side door all the way, then I can open/close them from driver's console. Can you guys help me diagnose this.

Background info, three months back I had an accident. Somebody hit me on drivers side door and the fender and front door had to be replaced. Rear door was only repaired to remove dents. All these problems started after that.

Please help!

 

Electrical short somewhere probably....

 

either a bad driver's master switch or the connector in the door jam has a loose connection.
