Default Need pic of dist cap with wires 96 LX

I've searched and can't find a pic of how the wires go on the distributor cap for my 96 LX (external coil).
They were off when I bought the car.
I thought I had it at 1-3-4-2 starting at the coil post and going clockwise looking at the cap from the passenger fender. But I get nothing when trying to fire this up. I did get a pop when I had the plugs wires on a different way, but nothing else.
Now I have a check engine light on too, so I'll have to see what the hell I did to it. I do have spark with a plug inserted into the coil wire and grounded to the valve cover, but had other stuff to do, so I had to stop there.

A pic or a link would be great.

By the way, this motor is toast, I just want to see if it runs at all.

Steve, I'll have the pic for you by this evening, just waiting for a car to become available to use. That is if no one else posts by then.

Firing order was correct, but the camshaft is broken! It's broke right under the bearing cap near cylinder 4. So the rotor wasn't even turning, plus two of the rockers aren't moving. Never seen that before.
Wonder what would cause that and what damage it did to the cylinder.

Well then, that's right on. From the looks of the black crystalized crap in the valve train and the lack of oil in the block, I'd say that the previous owner didn't have it changed or check the oil-ever!
