Default Performance Camshafts

http://www.accordperformance.com/camshaft.html

On this page I have the 2.3 Vetec/Auto. That should be the 3rd one from the bottom for a 00 accord correct?

Yeah, that looks right to me. Do these really help your performance? I mean, Honda probably spent a good deal of time designing the cam that's stock in the H23. Do these guys know better? Granted, the H23 is built for economy as much (or more so) than performance but still, is it a worthy mod?

I'm guessing no.

Also, if you're having problems with your oil pan / oil plug. I wouldn't even suggest trying this.

those cheapy ebay turbo kits aren't worth the money. the turbocharger itself are prone to split in half from the things floating around online. not sure about their pipes, but then again, i've heard "pipes are pipes"

those ebay turbo kits are crap. you end up spending more in the long run replacing parts that break. the manifolds are made from cheap materials and are prone to cracking or completely breaking. the turbo's are cheap knockoffs i wouldnt put on a gokart.

do it right, do it once. spend the money.

I believe you mean the F23, because the accord does not come with an H23 unless you swap one in.

to answer the question if a cam would help, it would but if your looking for a serious power adder, spend the money and get a good turbo kit, or if you want to go a less expensive route get a nitrious kit. its fairly cheap, and you get some good bang for your buck.

I dont want something thats limited such like more gasses as if unleaded gas prices werent enough.

Im looking for some power I can utilize that is under the hood that doesnt have a limit to it. Im looking into a little more power for now, thats a good idea though. I didnt really intend for nitrous...not sure I would though
