Default 6th gen V6 automatic to manual?

I figured while I waited for my automatic tranny to be replaced under warranty(5 months and counting), the idea has resurfaced to seriously consider converting my car from an auto to a manual transmission. Of course, I have no idea what I need to buy, transmission-wise. Please let me know what's available to bolt directly, or at least with some modifications, to my 2000 3.0 V6 coupe in terms of transmission, pedals, master cylinder, shifters, and anything else I couldn't think of in this thread. Please let me know because my tax refund is coming and I'm really about to take the plunge and do this to my car. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you'll need to get a tranny from either a 2003 Accord V6 or 2003 Acura CL.

The 6-speed is the only one that mates to that engine?

most people end up doing a full engine/tranny swap with the j32a2 engine

imo, it'll be cheaper just to buy a CLs/TLs

I understand that it would be cheaper to just buy a CL type-S, but they aren't readily available in Puerto Rico. Besides, it'd be so cool to have a 6th gen Coupe with a V6 and the manual tranny. Is the 03-present 6-speed the only transmission that mates to the 3.0?

I want to go to PR this summer.......hope "unexpected expenses" don't come up like they usually do.

Hope this works out for ya, one of my friends has a really nice 6th gen coupe in DR. Think he's selling it though.

I still have to search for an appropriate example of the transmission before I decide to do this or not, that and the fact that I just rearended a Ram and messed up my front end will have to make me wait a while before I decide to do this. But thanks for the help you guys, I'm glad that I now know what to look for in this quest to put a reliable transmission in my car rather than an automatic.
