depends on the state, typically no. All lights need to be of a standard color.
Red = turn or brake
White = reverse
no blue, no green, no shades of dark red, etc. You'd never pass a visual inspection.
Also, there needs to be some sort of RED reflective surface on the rear of your car. note the "Red". This is how Lexus gets away with the crystal tails found on the RX SUV.

I haven't tinted my tail lights but mine are all red and I've never had a problem. My car is also loud and if someone doesn't see me backing out then they are REALLY not paying attention. The reverse light is a bit brighter too.

I have an 03 accord coupe, tinted the taillights with vinyl overlays and love the look. It is NOT legal unless there is a red reflective surface visible from a profile in the rear, as well as directly behind.

If u want Opinions then hears mine on your ride, What i dont understand is why are people trying to Modify there 4 banger Grocery getter sedan? 4 doors are ment for wifes to go da store not to brag about.
